...a beadologist's adventure...

Backgrounder:  In the beginning of the construction of this neck piece, I had this picture in my head of what I wanted it to turn out like... it became a frustrating exercise between me, the vision and the reasonableness of skewing the pendant in the body of the necklace and those dang little beads yelling, "go for it" to me at every step of the way! Eventually, I totally gave in to the beads and they took over and directed the concept, instead of me directing it. What an interesting and fun journey ~ it's where the spirit of beadweaving happens!

This necklace was made especially for our FREEFORM series. Totally inspired by it's focal pendant, I designed it around the unique handmade polymer clay piece made by fabulously creative artist Kim Cavender (http://kimcavender.deviantart.com). If you look closely, I have captured a handmade ceramic bead inside one of the creative "art straps"! It is an easy-to-wear OOAK piece that really goes with any outfit and will turn heads as you walk by. Beadazzled specializes only in custom-made one-of-a-kind beadwoven artwork. This art piece is a limited edition 1of 1 and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authentication.
