JOIN WITH US ~ BUY HANDMADE
SUPPORT "CRAFTIVISTS!"

In these times of mass productions of products both here and overseas, we believe it is time for all of us to turn our holiday, birthday, wedding, event-giving to unique handmade items for your family and loved ones. I invite you to save gas, stay out of the malls and join me and my team in purchasing your gifts from any of the artists on sites like this blogsite, http://www.beadazzledoforegon.etsy.com/, "ETSY.com", the listings on "buyhandmade.org", ETSY BEADWEAVERS TEAM, (http://www.etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com/) and BEAD ART ORIGINALS (www.beadartoriginals.com/artists/html).

Give directly from your own heart gifts made by those artists who create them from their heart. Handmade all the way! CRAFTIVISM: (from Wikipedia), Craftivism is a form of activism, typically for social justice or environmentalism that is centred around practices of DIY (Do It Yourself) crafting - especially handicrafts. Practitioners are known as "craftivists".

WHAT'S ON MY BEADING BOARD TODAY?

Well I've been coveting this fabulous raku piece made by MAKUstudios (http://www.makustudio.blogspot.com/) for quite a while and now it's finally a part of a whole. Been working on this all weekend. Raku is a wonderful high-fire ceramic; rustic in nature and to me, just yummy. I almost feel like it's been excavated out of a hidden city in some mystical location.
