THE STORY: This necklace was made exclusively for our FREEFORM SERIES. This neck piece was originally made for my very dear Arizona friend, Donna. These are Donna's colors; blended browns, off whites, a bit of black. She deeply loved the hard-to-find green turquoise so when I found these pieces, I knew a necklace for her was around the corner. When I finished this freeform piece, made with the love that only 2 old buddies share, I sent a photo to my friend so that she could see it. She fell in love with it; I was so pleased! I packed it up and mailed it to her ~ Donna passed away the day after it arrived at her home. A year later, her mother sent it back to me, unworn. This has not been an easy piece of jewelry for me to let go of. But I know that Donna would want it worn and enjoyed as she would have done.

DONATION: If you should choose to purchase this necklace, the entire purchase price will be donated; 1/2 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of Helen Rawlings, my mother, (and myself) and another 1/2 to Autism Speaks! in honor of my granddaughter, Kendra.
